The Worldwide Forces Against Poverty Foundation (WFAP) is a global community development project based in South Africa and established to enhance and enrich the lives the lives of those who are affected by poverty especially young women and children.
The Worldwide Forces Against Poverty Foundation focuses mainly in two areas; first is to provide access to education focusing on young women and children in rural and poverty stricken areas. The way we aim to achieve this is by forming partnerships with Departments of Education, Ministries of Education, Colleges, Schools, Universities in a way that financial aid is to be provided to poor young women and children that are not able to study or further their studies due to lack of support.
We believe that through studying, one can guarantee themselves a brighter future and this will reduce poverty around the world because if a person has education with them that is something that can enable them to get employment, start a business etc, then there is no need to remain in poverty.
The second are is Nutrition; Millions of children around the globe die of because of malnutrition or lack of nutrition, this has been proven and this occurs because of various reasons, eg. both parents not working, lots of children in the same house and not sufficient money to support the whole family. It is sad but poverty is one of the biggest issues that is slowly killing our communities.
Our Vision
It all starts with a dream or a vision and then you strive to turn that vision into reality. Our vision is to be the voice of those that do not have an opportunity to speak, we will be their voice across the globe and they will be heard because they are also human beings. We will help them get out of poverty because we believe we can. The WFAP Foundation has a vision to implement projects designed to improve living standards and reduce poverty through Education and skills development.
Our Mission
Our vision is to give back to the communities, to help create a stable future and the only way achieve this is by creating awareness globally for everyone to help make a difference.
Our Goal
The Worldwide Forces Against Poverty Foundation has a goal that by the year 2014 we should have established operating offices across the globe as well as help centres for skills development. The year 2014 is the year that the WFAP Foundation is aiming to have united everyone worldwide to work together against poverty and to realise that poverty is slowly destroying our communities.
WFAP Foundation requires Partners/Donors to come on board and fund our projects in the rural communities and poverty communities.
