Financial support to develop infrastructure and to provide meals. Can you help?
|
St. Paul High School, Petete needs assistance from well wishers to in setting up a training workshop for imparting vocational skills to rural students, and a production unit to enable children to have a meal while at school. We are seeking one off support to establish infrastructure and start-up. Then we shall become self sustaining.
St. Paul High School is a secondary school located in rural Uganda established as a social enterprise to enable rural students acquire quality and relevant education that incorporates practical skills. Started in 2009, the school currently has a population of 490 students. For sustainability, we have partnered with government which provides a capitation grant that enables us to pay staff and provide basic scholastic materials. However, this money cannot provide for development of infrastructure. Secondly, the children stay at school for 8 hours without a meal, which is highly stressful.
