Introduction

SHADOW-PAK is an independent, non-profit, non-government organization established to encourage development through supporting, strengthening and promoting peace, human development and social well-being across the society. The SHADOW-PAK supports human development endeavors and links the communities with the government service delivery departments, donors, NGOs and the private sector. The SHADOW-PAK is a civil society organization that works on two tiers, one at policy and strategic initiative level and the other at the implementation level with special focus on capacity development of institutions, organizations and individuals. The SHADOW-PAK contributes to and promotes a culture of peace, social justice and human development through proactive advocacy and establishing associations, connections, research and strategic thinking between all those like-minded people who are working for the cause of and promotion of peace and human development.

The Organization is licensed under Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860

Our Vision

SHADOW-PAK envisions, such ambiance would be created where vulnerable component of the civilization would be seriously aware about all causes of poverty, sectarianism   and cultural violence and to mobilize common community to participate meaningfully in transforming   the society on charitable argument approachable to individual progress by evolving a culture of peace and equality.

We also envision peace as a non-violent co-existence, cooperation, compassion and justice based on mutual respect and understanding. SHADOW-PAK envisions development as access to just choices for all people in the society and protecting them for future generations.

Our Approach 

We understand that irrespective of the belief, ethnicity gender and social & economic distributions, humans, especially the marginal and the vulnerable are at the centre of the development and peace processes. Peace and development are mutually dependent. One process is invalid without the other. Development is disrupted, destroyed or denied if the peace does not exist. Peace is disrupted when the development is inaccessible or inequitably distributed.

The SHADOW-PAK contributes to and promotes a culture of peace, social justice and human development through proactive advocacy and establishing associations, connections, research and strategic thinking between all those like-minded people who are working for the cause of and promotion of peace and human development

Our Concerns

  • Make efforts for minorities through their capacity building and give them their fundamental rights and exertion for the betterment of minorities to save them commencing exploitation.
  • Promoting education in general and women education in particular in order to provide them equal opportunities to serve deserving humanity
  • Providing basic health facilities to population residing in rural areas, especially to mothers and newborns
  • Promoting education and values of human rights
  • Reducing poverty through promoting the concept of self reliance through skills by providing and promoting vocational and technical education in rural areas and urban areas.
  • Raising awareness on environment, clean drinking water, and health awareness among masses.
