RUBRO is basically the abbreviation of RURAL URBAN BASIC REQUIREMENTS ORGANIZATION.
The theme behind the establishment of this organization is to identify the basic requirements of the people of district Dera Ismail Khan, which is one of the most backward as well as populated district of Pakistan. At the same time, Dera Ismail Khan has the soil which is matchless in its agricultural capabilities, and, at the same time, it has the people who are not less than any other as far as their mantle or intellectual capabilities are concerned.
To study the main deprivations of these people, RUBRO conducted a brief survey to evaluate basic needs of these people. And the outcome of the survey was, that EDUCATION was the main point which this wise population is lacking of.
Secondly, HEALTH sector was not even into the picture, specially in the peripheries of Dera Ismail Khan District.
Thirdly, sense of SANITATION is also one of the major issue over there. in this regard, concept of having Toilets in the house is quite a new thing to these people of 21st century.
To address these main issues, RUBRO taken few positive steps. first of all, it arranged some sports festivals on different places to engage the YOUTH of the area to participate in the future, in the activities RUBRO was planning for them.
Secondly, RUBRO arranged places/buildings to start at least basic education which can give some food for thought to the people of these areas to attract to EDUCATED WISDOM, they are lacking of.
Our team, with help of local volunteers, working day and night to provoke parents as well children to help themselves by supporting RUBRO to get what they deserve.
