CRISIS REQUEST FOR CLASSROOMS CONSTRUCTION
Dear Partners in development
We are Christians of Kayenje C.U Primary school in Uganda, Butambala District, Kibibi Sub County in Kayenje village. It was built in 1967 we are kindly requesting for your assistance of construction of new 5 classrooms. The existing classrooms are too old dust with jiggers which have attacked all children in the school. The walls are full of cracks with rusty iron sheets threatening to fly of at any time (see the photo).
We have an enrollment of 805 children with 15 teachers, with a management committee of 12 members headed by a Reverend.
The school is a non profit church Aided, government pays teachers salary. It is situated on a 10 acre land.
The parents in the school are too poor to afford to construct new buildings.
We kindly request for your support to relieve these children from jiggers.
Your assistance will mean a lot to lives of these children.
