Hope At Last Foundation (HALF) Uganda

We all subscribe to one decision that all children have fundamental rights to have good health, shelter, and education. We therefore come out to stand in for these children and link them to what we call a hope at last for their well-being.

We believe if a child does not get education at an early stage then, that child will be a menace to the community as he or she will be unfit for the millenium's expectations. All must have education whatsoever the case will be.

HALF Uganda has come up with a strategy to find these needy children from place to place and facilitate them with the basics to ensure that they can access education wherever they are by trying to take them to schools in there nearby community so as to ease their way of study.

HALF Uganda has a plan of establishing a home for these children so as to get the education they need in a more convenient place together as a family and  also teach them some spiritual upbrings.

Half Uganda is anon governmental organization aimed at providing hope to the less privileged.

What this project wants
  • Scholastics such as; pencils, books, reading materials
  • Clothing, shoes
  • Volunteers in the teaching field
  • Farming equipment
  • Donors
  • Sports facilities
What we offer
  • Depending on the prevailing circumstances, our organization recognizes your input and put to record that someone valuable to our organization did put an effort to ensure that some child has got the necessities to have a bright future.
  • We make outstanding memorials to our database of our donors who do lend an unlimited offer to our pupils and students.
What we expect of our donor world and volunteers
  • Having realized the need and urgency of helping out to the needy or under privileged children at this organization’s reach, let not your hand be short at helping out for the more help or donation we get, the more outreach we stretch out.
What you expect of this project
  • Fully and with no divided attention reach out to the beneficially as intended or stipulated in the aims and objectives of the organization.
  • Mobilize, train and educate our future generation to reach the target of the millennium.

Here are some of the pupils who are voluntarily taken up by one of the organization’s volunteers to take them through the holiday programme by taking off some time of her precious hours to teach them in elementary studies. These pupils are catered for by the organization’s outreach programme.

The advantage at hand is that there is a Governmental programme that is running in the country of the universal primary education which is at the least level is holding us a little high in the fight against illiteracy at an early stage. This programme runs yes, but is only pointing at a very limited scope where teachers can’t attend to all pupils equally. A class holding 200 plus pupils and being handled by one teacher is a ratio of no proportionality at all costs. No teacher can handle such a class in real sense. That’s why Half Uganda is asking for holiday teaching volunteers to handle these pupils the same way the ones in the picture are attended to.

These children need clothing to look decent and smart be it at home and at school uniforms are advocated for. A clean pupil will always give courage and welcome to anyone in place.

Half Uganda has land that we so want to change from its redundancy state to a more valuable state. Farming is the key activity we know of that anyone in this world can engage in and come out successful.

As we hope to build a home for our pupils so as to get better attention from the organization, we hope that the food we plan on cultivating will sustain us have some to sell out for sustenance of the home. We feel having got tools and machinery say, hoes, pangas slashers and in the long run we hope we can raise to a tractor for easy farming and extensive wise, we shall be able to sustain the family of Half Uganda’s children and hence promise a bright future to these children.

As we have this piece of land we hope to have a sports ground for the children at  this project’s home so we need sports facilities to help us train them In all disciplines of sports.

According to our projects’ budget inclusive of the all said activities, a sum of $20,000/= will cater for them for a period of 48 months.

Anyone who finds our project with a vision of hope and wishes that together we can beat the millennium goal, please come to our aid and donate or be that volunteer we opt for!

Who knows that children can perform better in co-curricular activities like sports, music and dramma if natured to that tune?

Halfuganda is giving this a chance to train these children in co-curricular activities.

So far this is doing well and promising. Children love to be discovered of their potentials. One may not think that if trainned i a certain field they can perform quite well, trust me, train a kid to play table tennis and trust me he/she is going to do to their best!

Lets get the art of trainning these young stars to that tune and we have future sports men and women.

We all have one goal, see to it that children of this millenium are educated whatsoever the cost will be!!
