WHAT WE DO.
Horst Klabes Foundation is an NGO with the aim of supporting the less endowed in our rural areas. We believe quality Education is the main key to success and that children in the rural areas should get the same opportunities the children in the urban communities enjoy. Our mission is to help provide quality education to every single Ghanaian with the desire of being educated both formal and informal. It is also our mission to sensitize selected communities on some health issues. STD's and personal hygiene are some of the health areas we are tackling.
It is also the FOUNDATION'S goal to engage young people in community service to help abused and homeless children. The NGO will work with elementary and middle school councils, students involved Peer Assistance and Leadership programmes to help children who have been marginalized.
The NGO also works with volunteers around the world to teach children in the rural areas during vacations.
SUCCESS STORIES.
The foundation was registered in July 2011 and since then it has been able to support 169 children with school materials and we are still going round rural communities and making donations.
