Back to School Project
Dolly Foundation is a non-governmental organization operating in the Assin Municipality in the Central Region of Ghana.
On the 16th of June, 2011, Dolly Foundation marked the International Day of the African child. The celebration was the 2nd ever international day of the African child marked. The first was marked by World Vision International. Dolly foundation a local N.G.O in Assin Foso marked the Day. Theme of the international day of the African child was ‘’ALL TOGETHER, AN URGENT ACTION FOR STREET CHILDREN".
There is an on going project to help reduce the number of children in the street and also encourage the school drop out to attend school. The project” BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGN" is helping to provide school uniforms, shoes, bags and stationery to children to aid in their learning in school. Due to financial constraint we were able to provide the above mention items to 50 children only, who were not in school. We hope to solicit used items from philanthropists to give to these less privilege children to make them comfortable in school. Government is doing well with the provision of these items but need contribution from us to make others children has access to education.

Dolly Foundation is hoping that there could be more funds from individual and donor agency to carry out our year long project of sending 500 streets and school drop out to school by providing them with the above items
