Description of Campaign Project: Children Need peace Campaign Project is a mass media pacifist initiative program, designed to collect and disseminate educative information to Nigerian Children where ever they are found or located. The community based activities is on the dangers and aftermath of armed conflicts/war, and also for the propagation and promotion of the gospel and culture of peace through the powerful forces of a musical peace and unity concert titled Children Need Peace. Since the end of the Second World War in 1945, hardly a day passes when gun did not boom or bomb did not blast in some part of Africa. Africa are packed with the history of wars. Millions of African Children have been either killed or maimed as a result of these wars. War some times does not kill these diabolic war lords, and their family, but innocent children. War destroys life of a child, the effect of armed conflict/war on children, affects their character, some best quality inherent in them. Children Need Peace Campaign Project would utilize peace poems, peace songs and peace movie about the dangers and aftermath of armed conflict, to persuade Nigeria Children particularly in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria to say _NO TO ANOTHER WAR IN NIGERIA AND SAY YES TO PEACE _ In 1982, (ten year old) Samantha Smith wrote a letter to Soviet President Yuri Andropov asking the simple question: "Are you going to have a war or not?" These words changed history. Samantha went on to tour the Soviet Union and helped end the Cold War.

Samantha went on to tour the Soviet Union and helped end the Cold War. As a Christian Evangelist/Social Activist who got lost during the three year Nigerian/Biafran civil war, I and my team shall prayerfully work to infiltrates and influence the hearts of Nigerian children with our messages, music and poems of peace as we campaign against child soldiers in Nigeria by giving them important information on the dangers of war.
