CONSTRUCTION OF DISTRICT RESOURCE CENTRE WITH COMPUTERS FOR ICT

Manyoni District Council is one of the four districts in Singida region. The district has largest area of the land which is (58%) of the total area of Singida region which is 49438 sq. kms.

Despite of being having a large area but Singida is the poorest region in Tanzania . Also the standard seven result of 2010 the two latest schools in Tanzania it come from Manyoni district.

Here in Manyoni one of the causes of the form four National Examination failures was unavailable library service in our district. Generally we don’t have a district library (District Resource centre) where students and their teacher could access books and other information through internet.

Information is the tool for any development activity. To do something you will need to have relevant information that will assist you in accomplishing that work. Regardless of this essential, more people in Manyoni have little on idea on currently information instruments and infrastructure. Also it is limited to many of the organization so few know and use it.

So the Manyoni District council seeking support for construction of District resource centre with computers for ICT, where students, teachers, government workers and community in general will access information through reading books and search through internet
